Slytherin Styled Wedding || Jack London State Historical Park
As seen on
It all started one week in November when I got a phone call from Elise Brannan of Brannan Events. She said "I'm thinking of doing a styled wedding. Do you like Harry Potter?"
"SAY NO MORE," I shouted.
She then explained that she loves the colors and mood of the Slytherin House and she wants a Slytherin-themed wedding. I almost fainted from excitement.
ONE WEEK LATER (yeah, only a week)
Elise managed to herd some amazing vendors and find a super gorgeous location at the Jack London State Historic Park in Glenn Ellen. We did a call for models, but I ended up snagging two of my good-looking friends to play the roles of Astoria and Draco Malfoy.
Everything worked out perfectly. The styled shoot even got PUBLISHED on The Perfect Palette around the time that the newest Harry Potter film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was released in theaters.
(pun intended) IT WAS ABSOLUTE MAGIC.
AMAZING calligraphy by Oxford Lettering Co.! It even says "RSVP by owl"!
What an amazing setup for a sweetheart table! The green velvet runner with the black candles is so luscious and perfect for Draco and Astoria.
I'm obsessed with this bold bouquet by Enchantment Floral!
The location at Jack London Historic State Park made me feel like we had apparated to the English countryside. The stone ruins were perfect for a dungeon-esque reception.
Guest table includes the table number "9 3/4" with gorgeous green and gold calligraphy name cards. I love the gold, black and green colors in the design, with the blood-red florals. Perfect for a dungeon reception.
